Fan function
The fan and its function is the heart of a RADONSUG and is therefore extremely important. Fans behave differently, depending on the purpose for which they are built. Our fan adapts to the resistance. Different resistances depend on the material under the foundation. Some fans suck too much, so there is a risk of cold air being sucked under the foundation, which can lead to other serious problems. Fans must also not be a danger to children or animals. Our fan is powered by completely harmless 12 volts and draws energy at a cost of less than 140 SEK per year, at an electricity price of 2 SEK/kWh.
Other requirements we set for the fan are that it should be as quiet and visible as possible. The small size also means that the visible intervention is very small.

Control measurement
After the radon suction unit has been installed, a control measurement should be carried out with a tracer film (see link on the first page). The trace film should be placed in the same place as in previous measurements. This is to be able to compare the results of the measure. It is also important that the measurement takes place under the same conditions as in everyday use and that it takes place in the period October-April.
